| Internet Extraordinaire.
Gangler’s
new satellite internet service was a big hit in 2006. Initially
many guests had mixed reservations about the service, wishing
to keep hi-tech out of the bush. Once they tried it, it proved
invaluable and allowed guests to stay on top of important business
and personal details while enjoying their trip. Having this
service truly allows guests to unwind and experience a week trip
without worry of weather.
Gangler’s
Internet service is unique among lodges. We hotwired the ENTIRE
camp. Each cabin not only has wireless but its own land line.
The wireless capability actually extends out to the front benches
overlooking the shoreline.
At
Ganglers’, we are forever improving the ideal Canadian
fishing experience.

Fall fishing now offered.
Our first designated fall fishing excursion
was a blast. We offered two weeks during mid-September. The
lake trout spawn was a bit slow going but once it clicked
in around Sept. 9, all
hell broke loose. The fishing was fast and furious, with trout
by the dozens attacking the lures. On the reefs, in the rivers,
the fish concentrations were fabulous. During this spawning
period, their coloration becomes almost char-like and they
are beauties to catch. Several trophies were taken, the largest
39”. Old friend writer Peter Mathiesen from Field and
Stream visited us the first week and did well fishing exclusively
with flies. Beautiful
colors, great and unique fishing, join us for the September 2007
showdown with the Seal’s spawning lakers. |
