Maria offers access to an incredible area. It boasts great
fishing on the main lake plus offers access to severaloutstanding portage
lakes. These lakes offer anglers access to all 4 of the major game fish
of Northern Canada. Giant pike and monstrous lake trout inhabit these
waters and the lake has produced well over a thousand Master Angler entries.
Maria sits at the headwaters of the North Seal and offers
spectacular Arctic Grayling, with a 24” fish rivaling the Manitoba
province record caught and released here. A nearby portage on Weidenhammer
Lake will satisfy the most avid walleye fisherman. Maria’s entire
area in total covers almost 400 sq. miles.
