Flip Pallot Week in July
We are very pleased to announce Gangler’s guests will enjoy a special treat next summer. An old friend will soon be revisiting the North Seal. TV host and Master of the Flats, Flip Pallot, will be taking over North Seal River Lodge July 4-11, 2009. To the few not familiar with him, Flip is a great all-around angler, master guide, and his skills with the fly rod are legendary. His TV career started as part of the classic American Sportsman with Curt Gowdy. We first made Flip’s acquaintance through our mutual friendship with Lefty Kreh. Flip consequently filmed some of the finest episodes of his acclaimed TV series, The Walkers Cay Chronicles, with us. He captured it all on his last trip - trophy pike on a streamer, classic whitewater grayling on dry flies, and great footage of a 20 + lb. pike attacking a popper on a 4 weight rod.
This week promises to be an immersion into some of the best fly-fishing Canada has to offer with. The easy-going format combines an incredible sampling of the North Seal’s huge pike, lake trout, walleye, and grayling along with instructional tips from Flip in casting, fly-tying, and presentation. Flip’s manner is just as you see him on TV, affable, warm and always interesting. Flip a consummate outdoorsman and his love for it infectious.
